Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Completeman platform, website and mobile applications. By creating an account or booking a service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. What Completeman does
Completeman is a coordination platform that connects customers in South Africa with verified, branded service providers (handymen, plumbers, electricians, cleaners, painters, gardeners and more). Completeman is currently live in Gauteng only.
2. Bookings and fulfilment
- Bookings are confirmed for next-day fulfilment or later — Completeman does not offer same-day matching except for specific emergency categories where this is explicitly enabled at checkout.
- Pricing covers professional labour and standard tools only. Materials are not included unless explicitly listed.
- The scope you confirm at booking is binding. Any on-site change requires your explicit in-app approval and may carry an additional cost.
- A minimum booking total of R150 applies to cover worker travel costs.
3. Payment
Payment is collected upfront via our payment processor (PayFast). Funds are held until the job is completed and verified. Cancellations and refunds follow the policy displayed at checkout.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate address, access instructions and an honest description of the job.
- Be present (or nominate an adult representative) for the scheduled visit.
- Treat our service providers professionally and respectfully.
5. Service providers
Service providers on Completeman are vetted and operate under our brand standards, but they are not employees of Completeman. Completeman coordinates the booking and ensures recourse via our dispute process if something goes wrong.
6. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with a job, raise a dispute in-app within 48 hours of completion. Our team will review the before/after photos, communicate with the pro and decide on a fair resolution.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Completeman's total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
8. Account suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the platform, threaten safety, attempt fraud or repeatedly cancel bookings in bad faith.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
